Process & Timeline
What does the migration process look like in detail?
- Your account manager will contact you to coordinate the migration.
A migration coordinator from our partner Computop will conduct a planning meeting with you.
You will receive access to the Nexi Upgrade Portal.
In the portal, you can release the entered data and check the status at any time.
After a successful migration, you will receive access to Nexi Paygate and a welcome letter.
Payengine will remain available for credit transactions until June 30, 2026.
By when must the migration be completed?
To continue providing you with the best possible service quality and state-of-the-art payment processing, we will gradually replace the current Payengine platform and Paylink with the new Nexi Paygate platform over the course of 2025.
Our services for Payengine and Paylink will be discontinued by the end of 2025.
The system will remain available for credit notes and refunds for an additional six months. This ensures a smooth transition.
Can I use both systems during the transition phase?
No. Once Nexi Paygate is live, credit transactions can only be processed via Payengine.

Will anything change in my contract?
The existing contract for Nexi Payengine can continue to be used unchanged for the Nexi Paygate solution.
If you are using services provided by PPRO, it may be necessary to adjust your existing contract with PPRO. Please contact your project coordinator for further details.
Which payment methods does Nexi Paygate support?

Common payment methods are already integrated. Additional methods can be added flexibly.
Do I need to cancel Payengine?
No. The migration takes place automatically, and your existing contract with Nexi remains unchanged.
If you have a separate agreement with PPRO for using PPRO-based payment methods, please contact your project coordinator to coordinate any necessary adjustments to your contract with PPRO.
What happens with invoicing?
As part of the migration process, invoices will be adapted starting in June 2025 to reflect the new item descriptions and the new TID structure (e.g. 10A for Nexi Paygate instead of 52K for Payengine).
Even if the technical migration is not yet completed on your end by that time, invoices will already be updated starting in June 2025.
