The service fee varies depending on the card type and contractual arrangement and starts at 0.99%. The exact service fee is determined by the transaction volume tier agreed in the contract. In addition, a monthly terminal fee of €15 (DeskPOS / SmartPOS including SoftPOS) applies. A one-time setup fee of €49 is charged for providing the terminal.
The service fee applies to card transactions made with Girocard cards as well as Mastercard and Visa debit and credit cards. Nexi SoftPOS supports payments with Mastercard, Visa, Debit Mastercard, Visa Debit, V Pay, and Maestro. Girocards are accepted only if they include a co-badge (e.g., Debit Mastercard, Visa Debit, V Pay, or Maestro).
Cards issued under the China UnionPay, Diners Club/Discover, and JCB brands are not supported by Nexi SoftPOS.
*A co-badge means that, in addition to the Girocard logo, a card also carries an international payment scheme. In such cases, payments are processed through the respective international scheme.
